Design Phase
  • Knowledge based input in the design development and overall concept
    of the project
  • Value engineering in the selection of construction methods,
    materials and procedures
  • Preparation of accurate preliminary budgets, based on historical data and
    familiarity with current market prices for trades and suppliers’ work
  • Preparation of a master schedule based on compliance with previous project timelines
  • Planning construction methods and procedures recognizing Union Input, WSIB and safety regulations, and general knowledge of by-law requirements affecting construction in various municipalities
Construction Phase
  • Negotiating trade contract prices with the trades and suppliers, and making award recommendations to owners
  • Implementation of safety requirements at the jobsite
  • Liaising with the on-site trades to facilitate accurate scheduling and quality control
  • Administration of the progress and final payments to trades and suppliers
  • Assisting in claim and dispute resolution
Post-Construction Phase
  • Ensuring all deficient work is remedied
  • Ensuring contract close-out procedures are in place
  • Administering warranties by the trades
  • Assisting owners in timely release of securities/L.Cs from municipalities and
    Tarion Warranty Corporation
  • Organizing customer care service
